Paul has been a therapist for ten years and his background includes being an accredited alcohol counsellor and an FE tutor.  After qualifying as a counsellor in 1998, he completed a certificate in CBT at the Centre for Stress Management in London. He previously worked in project management and he lived in Germany for a number of years. More recently, he managed a successful day centre for adults with Asperger Syndrome. Paul is trained in NLP, TFT and EFT and he teaches accredited courses at this local college in East Sussex.

EFT  Emotional Freedom Techniques

EFT is a gentle and constructive psychological process accompanied by a simple, non invasive, tapping on certain meridian points. It was originally devised to reduce the duration of therapy from months or years down to a few hours. It is based on the discoveries of Dr Roger Callahan, the founder of TFT.

Whereas EFT emphasises the 'energetics' associated with Chinese medicine and the meridian system, TFT is concerned with 'informational properties' within the Thaught Field - and is more aligned with the concept of Morphic Resonace and Fields of the Mind proposed by Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, PhD.

Watch the War Trauma video  for a deeper appreciation of what can be achieved with EFT. You will see clients who had previously experienced the 'tried and tested' approaches to dealing with PTSD but were unable to gain the relief they were desperately seeking until they found EFT.

Learning & Therapy  "The difference you make is the change you keep."

Always choose  the  most effective treatment for anxiety, fears, phobias, depression, PTSD  and low self-esteem,  especially if you can be taught the same procedures for self help. Some  approaches like TFT, NLP and EFT  can also be used to resolve grief, love pain and distressing memories, no matter how old or intense they are. Diet not working? Comfort eating will sabotage any progress you make, which  is why it is important for you to  know how to neutralise the physical and emotional cravings that can lead to compulsive behaviour.
